Free VST: Amazona.de/u-he Tyrell N6

For some time the AMAZONA.de community is developing a new synthesizer called Tyrell.
Urs Heckmann desidet to develop this synth as a virtual VST Plugin called Tyrell N6. The first alpha version is now available for download. You have to become an AMAZONA.de Froum user.

free vst: Solid4010 phoenix in flight audio

Phoenix In Flight Audio (PIFA) is developing free VST Plugins for a while now. Finally i´ve tested the latest versions SOLID4010, OPTRON 3A, 10EQ, THRILLER EQ and last but not least CHIEF EQ. What i really like is the look and feel. the plugins look simply great :) but PIFA has set the bar very high, cause the plugins will simulate some higendequpment like the SSL 4000 series or the API:

togu audio line has released a new free vst filter plugin.
Release of TAL-Filter-2 version 0.99b. TAL-Filter-2 is a host synced filter module with different filter types, panorama and volume modulation possibilities. The device includes all 4x oversampled TAL-NoiseMaker filters: LP 24 dB, LP 18dB, LP 12dB, LP 6dB, HP 12 dB, BP 12dB, N 12 dB. Its possible to saturate / distort the input signal by raising the input volume with the input control (only if you use a filter as modulation type).
Its also possible to modulate the panorama or volume of an incoming signal. This can be used for tremolo or trance gate effects. Panorama modulation maybe is useful to pan your percussion, hats or sound effects in the stereo room for more interesting rythms and sounds.

one of my favourite freeware vst plugins are created by variety of sound. the guy behind variety of sound is a genuis i thing. the plugins are just amazing. smooth and fresh designed gui and the sound is really “pro”. the latest plugin is called nasty dla which is a chorus/echo/tapedelay simulation. if you haven´t heared about variety of sound just check it out. allmost all plugins are prodigious!

for some weeks i´m a proud owner of the new komplete7 from native instruments. you get a real bargain for that money. the installation of all “13 dual-layer DVD´s” is taking hours. but you will be rewarded. one of my most favourite is kontakt and reaktor. only with these two you have acces to thousands of sound, efx and instruments. in reaktor there are some new really cool instruments, especially SPARK i wont miss. its a fantastic expressing vsti. far away from standard “shitty” synths. thats the reason why the new NI komplete gets my NOIZEFIELD GOLDSTAR AWARD!
