Free VST Plugin: vladg/sound – Limiter6

Vladislav Goncharov released a public alpha limiter plugin with the codname “Limiter6″ for Win (32 and 64Bit !!!) and MacOS X.
“I’m glad to introduce public alpha version of new limiter plugin (codename “Limiter6″)!
This plugin is unique combination of slow RMS-compressor, peak limiter, high-frequency limiter, oversampled clipper and inter-sample limiter. The idea of this combination is “gain staging” when each stage used a little to make a most clean sound.
This is not a plugin with 1 knob and smart brain inside, which allow making your mix 0 dB RMS. All settings are manual and there’re a lot of knobs.
The GUI is a draft yet and will be redrawn to photorealistic military style.”

free vsti: Wolfgang Palm – Plex2 is now freeware and 64Bit

Great news, Wolfgang Palm´s synthesizer plugin Plex2 is now freeware. The plugin offers some unique features and creates quite interesting sounds. and for all 64Bit users – now the plugin is available in 64Bit as well :)
I had done some extensions on Plex, just for myself during the last years. Doing that, I found the sounds Plex produces interesting again.
So I decided to do a new version, and offer it for free.
The new features are:
- Automatisation of the icon positions on the palette.
- All filters with emphasis parameter
- Tools to easily change the palette content

bugfix: IK Multimedia – ARC System 64Bit vpa64 dll error

I resently found a solution to fix this problem:

Can’t load C:\Program Files (x86)\IK Multimedia\ARC System\ARC.vpa64
If you also got this error message here is the solution:
Howto get ARC System running unter win7 64Bit:
The best way is to just install one of the free Aplications from IKM like Amplitube Free or Sampletank Free. After the installation you can find a file called xxx in the installation folder. In most cases it´s located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\IK Multimedia\Amplitube 3
Just copy that file info the ARC System installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\IK Multimedia\ARC System\) and it should run.
