ALM With Mixer: 8-Channel Stereo Mixer for Stem Ripper

ALM has introduced the With Mixer, a companion expander for the Stem Ripper Eurorack module. It adds a full-featured 8-channel stereo mixer with per-channel level and gain control, stereo panning, dual stereo aux sends, and mute and solo controls. This new module turns a standard recording interface into a complete mixing and recording solution within 14HP combined width.

Hands-On Control and Monitoring

An easy-to-use graphical interface provides visual monitoring of all eight input channels and the stereo mix output. Consequently, you get precise control over every mix parameter. Moreover, mix parameters can be controlled via CV or an external MIDI controller connected to the powered USB host port. In addition, this makes the With Mixer well suited for live performances. As a result, you can save and recall complete mixer setups, while the display also shows the Stem Ripper’s recording status and elapsed time.

Integration with Stem Ripper

The final stereo mix is available from the stereo output jacks. Simultaneously, it is recorded to the Stem Ripper’s SD card alongside the individual, unprocessed input stems. Hence, the pairing offers a modern multitrack mixing and recording experience in just 14HP. For instance, you can record each source separately and still have a live mix for monitoring.

Supply: +12V 45mA / -12V 35mA. Size: 8HP, Depth 32mm. Consequently, the expander is compact and skiff-friendly. At the moment, ALM has not announced pricing or release date. Meanwhile, the module promises to be a robust mixing tool for Studio and live setups.
