Breakthrough Ensemble Engine for Harmonic Expansion

The key innovation in Cloudburst is its Ensemble engine. This effect continuously analyzes 48 different frequency bands in the input audio and generates corresponding upper harmonic partials for each band. The result is a synthesized string ensemble-like expansion of the reverberated signal, producing unique textures that enrich your tracks.

Using Ensemble on acoustic instruments or vocals can instantly create lush string voices or subtly add harmonics and movement to ambient reverb soundscapes.

Instant Ambient Pads with Hold Function

The plugin features a Hold button that provides infinite reverb sustain. This can transform any input sound into an ambient pad instantly. The Hold button has two modes: Infinite and Freeze. Infinite mode allows reverbs to sustain indefinitely, with each new note adding to the reverb signal. Freeze mode also sustains indefinitely but lets you play new unprocessed notes over the sustained sound without increasing the reverb.

Lush Modulation for Movement

Cloudburst includes modulation of the reverb delay lines, adding stereo movement and interest. The Mod control adjusts modulation depth and speed, ranging from subtle effects to warbly vintage sci-fi pitch modulation, especially effective when combined with the Ensemble effect.

Versatile Decay Control for Various Spaces

The Decay control automatically adjusts multiple internal parameters to create musically responsive spaces of any size. It can simulate natural small rooms or expansive, otherworldly atmospheres. Small adjustments to Decay significantly affect the reverb character.
