Freqport Launches Dual FreqInOut FO1-2RK: 8-In/8-Out Rack Hardware Integration System

Freqport has announced the availability of the Dual FreqInOut FO1-2RK, a 1U rack-mount hardware integration system that turns outboard audio gear into fully recallable plugins inside your DAW. The release coincides with the company’s next-generation FreqSoft v1.10.0 installer, which adds support for running up to four Freqport or AnalogHarmony-equipped devices in a single DAW project.

Eight In, Eight Out — Without Replacing Your Interface

The Dual FreqInOut FO1-2RK provides 8× 32-bit analog inputs and outputs in a single 1U rack unit. It connects via USB-C and works alongside your existing audio interface on Mac and Windows — no aggregate devices or complex routing required. Stack two units and you get up to 16 inputs and outputs for larger studio setups.

Outboard Gear That Behaves Like Native Plugins

The included FreqInOut plugin (AAX, AU, and VST3) handles all routing, latency compensation, and hardware control directly inside your DAW. Audio is processed in 32-bit with sample-accurate timing, so external hardware behaves like a native plugin in your session — including automation and instant recall.

Freqport’s proprietary AnalogHarmony technology streams audio between hardware and DAW with sample-accurate timing over USB-C, making hardware routing, processing, and recall function as part of the session rather than as external infrastructure.
