Tritonet has released Tritonet v3, a significant update to its innovative harmonic composition system designed specifically for Ableton Live. This version enhances the way musicians interact with harmony, treating it as an active structure rather than a static theory. Utilizing the Circle of Fifths as a navigable control surface, Tritonet v3 allows for seamless chord progressions, pitch mapping, and tonal movement across an entire Live set.

One of the standout features of Tritonet v3 is its ability to store harmony as clips. This functionality enables users to edit, automate, and reuse chord progressions just like any other musical material. The update introduces GPU-accelerated visuals, which enhance the user experience by providing real-time visual feedback. Additionally, the workflow has been redesigned for greater efficiency.

The expanded polyphonic chorder now includes four-voice dynamic voice leading, allowing individual voices—soprano, alto, tenor, and bass—to be followed independently by MIDI tracks.
