United Plugins has officially announced the release of TrapTune Core, a new, streamlined version of their renowned automatic vocal tuning plugin, TrapTune. This lightweight iteration is designed specifically for pitch correction and has been integrated into the popular United Free Bundle collection. Consequently, it offers a powerful tool for vocal processing without incurring any cost for users, aiming to make professional vocal production more accessible.

TrapTune Core is a significant addition for producers seeking efficient vocal manipulation. It retains the core functionality of the original software, focusing on the principal Tune-In engine. This ensures users can achieve both natural pitch correction and modern hard-tuning vocal styles. Moreover, the plugin provides robust options for formant shifting and voice transposing, allowing for creative tonal alterations. Users can also select specific scales, which further streamlines the tuning process and ensures musical accuracy. This core focus helps maintain high-quality results while optimizing performance.

Streamlined Core Architecture

To achieve a lower CPU footprint and a more focused user experience, several modules from the full version of TrapTune have been intentionally excluded from TrapTune Core. TrapTune Core is distributed as a completely free download, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious producers. However, it does feature a small promotional banner at the bottom of its user interface. For existing license holders of the premium United Free Bundle, the ad-free version of TrapTune Core is automatically credited to their accounts. Likewise, owners of the full TrapTune version can install and utilize TrapTune Core directly, as their existing license automatically unlocks the Core version and removes all advertisements. This provides a seamless experience for loyal United Plugins users.

Expanding the Free Plugin Collection

The introduction of TrapTune Core expands the UnitedFree Bundle to a total of eleven professional tools. This collection offers a diverse range of ad-supported plugins designed to enhance various aspects of music production.
