Épica Audio has officially launched Resonant Reverb, an innovative multi-effects plug-in designed to transform ordinary sounds into inspiring new textures. This powerful software was developed in close collaboration with 11-time Grammy-winning producer and engineer Joe Chiccarelli, known for his work with artists like The White Stripes, The Strokes, and U2. Consequently, Resonant Reverb aims to provide producers with a tool that pushes their audio into bold and unexpected sonic territories, essentially turning reverb into a comprehensive sound-crafting instrument.

The core of Resonant Reverb lies in its unique signal processing chain. It commences with a resonant filter, followed by a carefully crafted distortion stage. Subsequently, this signal feeds into a plate reverb, which is further enhanced by a wide stereo image and an integrated 1176-inspired compressor. Finally, a second, clean resonant filter completes the chain, offering precise control over the final character of the sound. This multi-stage approach allows for extensive manipulation, enabling users to create everything from radio-telescope vocals and massive 808 kick extenders to vintage 1970s rock rooms and squashed vocal effects.
