Universal Audio has announced the release of the Paradise Guitar Studio, a new native UAD plug-in that aims to deliver a comprehensive guitar recording signal chain. This software is designed for both Mac and PC users, integrating emulations of classic amplifiers, cabinets, and microphones alongside stompbox and studio effects. It provides an ‘end-to-end’ virtual workflow that simplifies the recording process for guitarists of all levels.

Customizable Signal Path
One of the standout features of Paradise Guitar Studio is its drag-and-drop interface, which allows users to arrange their signal path similarly to a physical pedalboard. This intuitive design enhances creativity and efficiency, making it easier to find the desired sound. The core sound generation leverages 11 unique vintage and modified tube amplifier models, offering a variety of tones ranging from clean to crunchy and boutique. Each amplifier is paired with curated speaker cabinets and adjustable microphone placements, providing flexibility in sound design.

Post-Processing Tools and Effects
In addition to the amplifier section, the plug-in features a suite of studio-grade post-processing tools. Users can access effects such as 1176 compression, vintage tape echo, spring and plate reverbs, and EQ, allowing for extensive sound shaping. The inclusion of utility features like an integrated tuner and input gate further enhances its functionality.

With over 300 presets spanning various genres, including rock, blues, and metal, Paradise Guitar Studio is tailored to meet the needs of modern musicians.
