ADSR Introduces Prism Multi-FX

ADSR has released Prism, a new modulated multi-effects plugin for macOS and Windows. It offers a flexible 16-slot rack with ten effects, eight drawable modulators, and over 300 factory shapes. The plugin is available now at an introductory price of $89, with a 30-day free trial.

Modulation at Its Core

Prism is designed around the idea of modulating everything, even the modulators themselves. You can draw your own modulation curves, pick from 314 shapes across 16 categories, or use the morph pad to blend between four shapes. Eight pads can run as LFOs, envelopes, step sequencers, or random walks, and each can be routed to virtually any parameter.

Additionally, the plugin includes an audio follower that listens to your track and drives effects in real time. This makes it easy to create sidechain-style pumping, rhythmic gating, or reactive filter movements without manual automation.

Effects and Routing

The effects rack includes ten effects: stutter, filter, overdrive, bitcrusher, volume, phaser, flanger, ring mod, delay, and reverb. Each effect can be used up to four times, giving you a maximum of 16 effects per chain. You can also sequence the effects themselves using the built-in step sequencer, which can be clocked by the DAW, MIDI, audio triggers, or randomness.

MIDI out is another highlight, allowing you to send modulation curves to hardware synths or other plugins. The plugin also features eight nameable macros, a morph pad with 30 motion paths, and full MIDI learn support.

Presets and Shapes

Prism ships with 50 presets across eight banks, covering everything from sidechain pumping and glitch effects to tape and lo-fi textures. The 314 factory shapes are organized into categories like sidechain, stutter, riser, wobble, and more. You can also save your own shapes and presets to build a personal library.

Prism is available for VST3 and AU on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and 64-bit Windows. The introductory price is $89, which will revert to $129 after 58 days. A fully functional 30-day trial is available with no restrictions and no card required.
