VT-Mini: Free Vocal Tuner for Windows VST3
NEVER FOUND, the young developer behind the upcoming EEQ-8 dynamic EQ, has released VT-Mini, a free vocal tuner for Windows. The plugin is now available to newsletter members. It comes with no payment, no license key, and no activation.
Two Pages for Tuning and Cleaning
VT-Mini works in two sections. The Tune page handles voice tuning and pitch correction. It offers controls for Retune, Amount, Natural, and Variation, plus a chromatic or key-based scale. The Clean page adds a low cut and a dynamic de-esser, using the same graphical engine as the developer’s EEQ-8 equalizer.
These tools let you fix pitch and tame harsh sibilance in one simple interface. Moreover, it is designed for quick vocal fixes.
Two Modes for Recording and Mixing
The tuner runs in two distinct modes. Low Latency keeps latency low for tracking through plugins while recording. Studio is intended for tuning already recorded vocal material. As a result, you can use it both during a performance and in post-production.
Free and No Strings Attached
VT-Mini is free. There is no payment, no license key, no activation. The full plugin is sent once an email address is confirmed at neverfoundaudio.com. In addition, there are no demo restrictions or trial periods.
On the other hand, the download requires a newsletter signup. That’s the only catch.
Compatibility and Availability
VT-Mini is available for Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. It comes as a VST3 plugin and a standalone application. Unfortunately, there is no macOS version yet. The plugin is verified as a lightweight tool, similar to the EEQ-8’s efficiency, consuming under <2% CPU per instance on a modern system.
