Deep in LA’s Arts District is Principleasure’s studio. Here, the British DJ-producer-technologist breaks down the barriers between analogue and digital. At once visceral and alien, his jams use an impressive collection of vintage hardware – but he’s also open to using new technology and plug-ins, like the Zone synthesiser, made by his own start-up Audiaire.
