Laguna, an independent synth and groovebox manufacturer based in Berlin and Paris, has unveiled its inaugural product, the Laguna Berlin. This new digital hyper groovebox is designed as a full standalone music production station, integrating multiple groove machines into a single, comprehensive device. Currently in its prototype stage, the Laguna Berlin is slated for shipping in summer 2026, promising a fresh approach to electronic music creation. The device emphasizes an intuitive, hands-on workflow, aiming to minimize menu diving and maximize creative flow for producers.

Classic waveforms such as Sawtooth, Square, Triangle, and Sine are readily available, providing fundamental building blocks for synthesis.

The groovebox features a powerful 32-step sequencer with variable pattern length, enabling intricate rhythmic and melodic constructions. Additionally, the Laguna Berlin supports a song mode for crafting long and complex tracks, alongside pattern morphing capabilities for evolving arrangements. Each groove machine boasts storage for up to 128 patterns, offering ample space for musical ideas.
