Paddock IV Releases Free Solo Plan for Stage Mate Chord Chart App

Paddock IV has announced a new free Solo plan for Stage Mate, its chord-chart editor, setlist planner and performance app. The plan went live on 14 August 2026. It gives solo musicians, duos and bands access to the full song editor, show and setlist planning, and the performance scroller. There is no credit card required.

What Does the Solo Plan Include?
The Solo plan includes unlimited songs and shows. You can import chord sheets or ChordPro songs. The editor treats chords and lyrics as structured visual content. You can position chords precisely above lyrics. Editing lyrics does not break chord alignment. You can transpose complete songs and add rehearsal notes. Shows can contain ordered sets with durations and running times. The performance view offers count-ins and song-timed scrolling. This works online and offline.

Collaborative Features for Bands
Duo and Band plans add performer-specific features. They also include Live Stage synchronisation. One device leads while others follow. Connected devices instantly update the show, song, count-in and scroll position. Only the leader needs an account. Other performers can join by scanning a QR code. Paid plans also provide vocal assignments and lyric highlighting. Individual transpositions and instructions are available for each performer.

Pricing and Availability
Stage Mate is a web application for phones, tablets and computers. The Solo plan is free. Duo supports two synchronised devices for US$6 per month. Band supports up to ten devices for US$10 per month. Both paid plans include a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required for the trial.
