The trick is that you do not need to write a single line of code. Instead, you describe the sound, controls, and look to an AI coding agent you already have, and the agent writes the plugin source while you watch. Pook then builds it and hot-reloads it straight into your open DAW session, making it playable within minutes.

How Pook Works

The workflow is very straightforward. First, you explain your idea to a compatible coding agent, such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Google’s Gemini. Next, the agent writes the code and saves it into a local project folder. Then, Pook compiles that code and loads it into your DAW without a restart or rescan. Consequently, every modification becomes audibly immediately while you keep playing. As a result, you can tweak the sound and test it in the session without interruption that feels quick.

Builders for Effects and Instruments

Pook is packaged in two builders: Pook Fx for effects, and Pook Instrument for instruments. Additionally, the Pook Studio bundle gives you both.
