Samba Godschynski Releases Integra-7 Editor for Windows and Linux

Samba Godschynski Integra-7 Editor

Samba Godschynski has released Integra-7 Editor, a native cross-platform editor for the Roland Integra-7 sound module. This software aims to replace the discontinued official editor and provide a modern alternative for Windows and Linux users. The Integra-7 is a powerful rackmount sound module, but its original editing software relied on Internet Explorer and ActiveX, making it obsolete. The only other option was an iPad app, leaving many desktop users without a proper solution.

Complete Parameter Control

Integra-7 Editor gives you access to every parameter of the hardware. You can manage Studio Sets, all 16 Parts, PCM and SuperNATURAL tones, as well as MFX, Chorus, Reverb, Master EQ, and full System settings. This eliminates the need to navigate the device’s small front panel. The editor communicates directly with the Integra-7 over MIDI/SysEx, ensuring fast and reliable data transfer.

Modern Workflow Features

The editor includes a command palette that lets you jump straight to any parameter by name. Dropdowns are searchable and type-to-filter, so you can find options quickly. Sections sync their state on demand instead of performing long full-device reads. Each section can open as its own window, allowing for a customizable workspace. This is a significant improvement over the original editor’s monolithic layout.

Cross-Platform Availability

Integra-7 Editor is available for Windows and Linux. It is a native application, meaning it runs without emulation or web technologies. This ensures performance and stability. The software is currently not available for macOS, which may be a limitation for some users.

Pricing

The editor is priced at €59. This is a one-time purchase, with no subscription required. You can buy it directly from the developer’s website.
