Pine DSP has announced the release of Blox Delay, a new delay plugin for macOS and Windows. This plugin offers three distinct delay types, each with its own sonic character. It is now available for $19 in VST3, AU, and AAX formats.

Three Delay Modes

The Normal mode provides a classic delay with independent left and right delay lines. This gives you precise control over stereo patterns. The Ping Pong mode crosses the feedback for alternating repeats. It creates a wide, moving stereo effect. The Diffuse mode transforms the tail through four stages of modulated diffusion. This results in ambient, reverb-like echoes that fill the mix.

Each mode responds differently to the main controls. Sync locks the delay to the host tempo. You can switch to free rate for manual adjustment. Link pairs the left and right delay times. Disable it to set different times for each side. The Duck feature shapes the wet signal around your source. An extended display reveals Depth, Threshold, Attack, and Release parameters. Live metering shows when ducking engages.

Feedback and Output Controls

Feedback determines how long repeats sustain. Next to the knob, a Feedback Filters button opens High-pass and Low-pass filters. These fit inside the feedback loop to shape the repeats. In Diffuse mode, the Wash button enables denser recirculation. It pulls repeats into a smooth cloud for a spacious sound.

Output and Mix controls are available for blending dry and wet signals. The plugin can be bypassed entirely. All controls work in real time, making it easy to tweak during performance.
