8Dio Solo Cello Designer

8Dio Solo Cello Designer is a virtual instrument (VST) containing over 1.800 Solo Cello phrases. The library is designed to get the optimal amount of content our of the phrases and the options are limitless. This video demonstrates some of the features, including the ability to time-stretch/time-compress any phrase by using pitch-bender and the ability to “scroll” into any phrase using the modwheel on your keyboard. In addition you can also control a variety of realtime FX from reverb, delay to convolution reverb, distortion etc. All the FX can be triggered realtime from your keyboard too. The Solo Cello Designer also contains controls for dynamics, attack, release, EQ, filter, resonance and many other cool features, including in-depth control parameters for all FX.

The fact the library has over 1.800 phrases and all these phrase sculpting controls essentially allow you to compose most things from the library – without the sacrifice of sounding “midi”.
