8Dio Solo Violin Designer 2.0

This video demonstrates all the new features in our Solo Violin Designer 2.0 update. We essentially updated the entire instrument and re-scripted everything from scratch, including new patch lay-out, patch randomizer, Chaos FX 3.1 engine, easy time-compression/stretch and sample off-set control on pitch-bender and modwheel and a bunch of new features and fixes. The update is free for all existing owners of 8Dio Solo Violin Designer (previously known as Studio Solo Violin).

8Dio Solo Violin Design is a virtual instrument (VST) containing over 4.200 phrases of solo violin. The library is designed to get the optimal amount of content our of the phrases and the options are limitless. This video demonstrates some of the features, including the ability to time-stretch/time-compress any phrase by using pitch-bender and the ability to “scroll” into any phrase using the modwheel on your keyboard. In addition you can also control a variety of realtime FX from reverb, delay to convolution reverb, distortion etc. All the FX can be triggered realtime from your keyboard too. The Solo Violin Designer also contains controls for dynamics, attack, release, EQ, filter, resonance and many other cool features, including in-depth control parameters for all FX.

The fact the library has over 4.200 phrases and all these phrase sculpting controls essentially allow you to compose most things from the library – without the sacrifice of sounding “midi”.
