Free Samples: BOLDER Sounds – Music Maker V4

BOLDER Sounds released Music Maker V4, a free sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt.

“This FREE sample library was originally created in April of 2004 in conjunction with the release of the Hammered Dulcimer Trilogy. Since then – Bo Clausen has generously updated this instrument with Kontakt numerous times scripting which takes this instrument to a whole new level yet again in Version 4. Make sure Kontakt 4 is updated at least to version 4.2.4 or higher! If you already have a previous version, you still should download the entire V3 package

This Bolder FREE Sound offering will be used in the Music Maker programming competition whcih will be held in the Spring of 2012. It is very important to read the 20 page .pdf manual in the documentation folder.

The Music Maker is a dulcimer designed as a child’s toy musical instrument. It is supplied with a guitar pick and some sheets that slide underneath the string telling you which strings to pluck from left to right. Featuring such hits as “Darling Clementine and Aura Lee etc ….

Music Maker V4 features –
5 x round-robins per key, and an expanded key range.
Various Filters, that can be controlled by Velocity, Envelope, Key Tracking and LFO.
Two LFO’s – a Main LFO and a Sub LFO, with six different modulation destinations.
A total of 11 different Preset menus, so you can save and recall all the various parameters.
A very advanced Pitch Bend control.
Freely assignable Key-Switches.
Eight different Effects.
