iZotope Iris 2: Using MIDI Assign | 20-Minute Manual Video #16

This is the sixteenth video in the 20-Minute Manual tutorial series for Iris 2.

Knobs, sliders, buttons, and pedals from your MIDI controller can be easily assigned to controls in Iris 2. Simply click the MIDI Assign button in the Global Panel, select the name of the parameter you want to assign, and then move a controller on your MIDI device. These assignments are recalled whenever you open Iris 2, whereas MIDI Expression Controls (like Key Tracking, Velocity, Aftertouch, and Mod Wheel) save with patches.

Learn Iris 2 in 20 minutes with these tutorials. The 20-Minute Manual was developed exclusively by Groove3 for iZotope.

Discover and create musical sounds that have never been heard before with iZotope Iris 2. An inspiring sample-based synthesizer, Iris 2 is immediately playable—combining the power of a sampler, the flexibility of a modular synth, and the fun of spectral filtering.
