Novation Presenta: Bostich + Fussible de Nortec Collective

Nortec Collective es uno de los proyectos más influyentes en la música Mexicana. El Colectivo alcanzó prominencia con su forma pionera de mezclar muestras de música tradicional norteña y de tambora, junto con la estética musical del techno (nor – tec).
Miembros fundadores Pepe Mogt (Fussible) y Ramón Amezcua (Bostich) han usado equipos Novation a través de sus carreras como productores musicales, y quedaron muy sorprendidos con el Bass Station II. Pasamos un poco de tiempo con ellos en su ciudad, donde hicimos un muestreo de los famosos tacos de Tijuana y nos contagió el sonido nortec.

Nortec Collective is one of the most influential projects in Mexican music. They rose to prominence though their pioneering blend of traditional norteño and tambora samples mixed with the musical aesthetics of techno (hence nor-tec).
Founding members Pepe Mogt (Fussible) and Ramón Amezcua (Bostich) have used Novation products throughout their music-making careers, and they’re bowled over by the BassStation II. We spent some time with them in their home town, sampled some of TJ’s famous tacos, and got infected by the sound of nortec.
