Arturia AudioFuse Studio Rev2: 18-in/20-out with Upgraded Preamps

Arturia AudioFuse Studio Rev2

Arturia has unveiled the AudioFuse Studio Rev2, the second generation of its popular desktop audio interface. This refreshed model brings optimized DiscretePRO preamps and an upgraded Bluetooth module. It offers 18 inputs and 20 outputs, making it a comprehensive hub for professional studios.

Key Improvements

The Rev2 focuses on enhancing audio quality. The four DiscretePRO preamps now deliver even lower THD and a 78dB gain range. This makes them suitable for quiet ribbon microphones. The interface also boasts a -129dBu equivalent input noise and a 119dB dynamic range. These specs ensure clean, detailed recordings.

Connectivity and Routing

Connectivity is a major strength. The interface includes 8 analog inputs, with 4 featuring mic/line/instrument preamps. The other 4 are line inputs, with inputs 5-6 switchable to a phono/RIAA preamp. You also get 8-channel ADAT I/O, S/PDIF, and Word Clock. The upgraded Bluetooth receiver supports AAC, aptX HD, and aptX Low Latency codecs. This allows wireless streaming and recording from your phone or tablet.

The front panel provides hands-on control. You have dedicated buttons for mono, mute, dim, talkback, and PFL. Two independent headphone outputs are available, each with its own source selection. A built-in USB 2 hub offers three ports for connecting controllers and storage devices.

Software Bundle

Arturia includes the AudioFuse Creative Suite with the interface. This bundle features 11 software titles, including Analog Lab Intro and the newly added Comp DIODE-609. You also get classic effects like Pre 1973, Filter Mini, and Delay TAPE-201. These plugins expand your creative options right out of the box.
