Dialekt by Sugar Bytes is a pocket-sized groovebox designed for electronic music producers seeking versatility and portability. It combines high-quality synthesized and sampled sounds with innovative features, enabling users to create music ideas anywhere and transfer them seamlessly to their studio setup for further refinement.

Diverse Sound Engines and Tracks

Dialekt offers 8 tracks, each equipped with a variety of sound engines including synthesizers, drum engines, and a sample slicer with recording capabilities available in standalone mode. The sound palette ranges from classic oscillators to dynamic physical tones such as piano, organ, strings, flute, and vocal sounds, alongside percussive elements and naturalistic kicks. This diversity supports a wide range of genres and creative approaches.

Sound Per Step and Advanced Sequencing Features

At the core of Dialekt is the Sound per Step feature, which saves synth parameters to individual sequencer steps, allowing detailed control over every aspect of the sound. This functionality is enhanced by Randomizers that generate fresh sequences and sounds based on genre settings. Additional sequencing features include Rolls, Trig Conditions, and adjustable Tempo and Length per track, providing rhythmic complexity and variation.

Integration and Arrangement Tools

Dialekt supports MIDI pattern triggering for smooth integration with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and live performances. Its Song Sequencer enables the creation of longer compositions with tools such as Pattern Repeats, FX, Track Mutes, and the powerful Song Randomizer. The Memory Page offers an overview of all data, facilitating easy arrangement through drag-and-drop of tracks, patterns, and parts.

Innovative Song Randomizer and Effects

The Song Randomizer is a standout feature that can generate single tracks, parts, or entire songs. It creates patterns, sounds, chord progressions, fills, mute, and FX sequences across various genres, applicable to individual elements or global parameters. Complementing this is an FX sequencer with eight touch-controlled effects: TapeStop, Filter-Delay, Reverb, Looper, Phaser, Chorus, LowPass, and LoFi. These effects can be triggered manually or sequenced, with full editing and management capabilities.
