discoDSP Releases Discovery Pro 9.3 and Schroeder 3.0

discoDSP has announced updates for two of its plugins: Discovery Pro 9.3 and Schroeder 3.0. Both updates are free for existing customers. The company continues to refine its virtual analog synthesizer and reverb effect.
Discovery Pro 9.3: Enhanced Modulation and Workflow
Discovery Pro is a virtual analog synthesizer and sampler with four layers, twelve oscillators, and sixteen filter types. These include models based on Nord Lead 2, Moog Ladder, and Oberheim SEM. Version 9.3 adds per-voice LFOs with key tracking and envelope links. This allows more expressive modulation. The arpeggiator now features a latch mode. Sync rates step through a grid of musical divisions. A new Retro oscillator engine expands the sound design palette. Status pills show what each LFO is doing, improving usability.
The update also includes Mod Env to LFO rate links. This simplifies complex modulation setups. The new features are designed to make the synth more flexible. The Retro oscillator engine offers a different character. This could appeal to producers looking for vintage tones.
Discovery Pro 9.3 supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. It comes in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone formats. The update is free for all Discovery Pro 9.x customers.
Key Features of Discovery Pro 9.3

- Arpeggiator latch mode
- Retro oscillator engine

Schroeder 3.0: Rewritten Reverb with Surround Support
Schroeder is a reverb plugin based on the original 1962 algorithm. Version 3.0 has been rewritten from the ground up. It now offers seven reverb spaces and four variations. Each channel has a spectrum display. Surround support covers mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1, and 7.1.2 layouts. This makes it suitable for post-production and immersive audio.
Existing sessions from Schroeder 1.x and 2.x migrate automatically. The plugin ships with the FX Bundle 3.13. This bundle also includes Scope 3.2 with Split View on Spectrum and Semaphore pages. Per-channel curve overlays and a Channels submenu are added as well.
The update is free for all FX Bundle customers. Schroeder is also available on iOS as an AUv3 plugin.
