Divisimate Core: Modular Orchestration Toolkit for Virtual Instruments

NextMIDI has announced the release of Divisimate Core, a plugin aimed at orchestrating with virtual instruments. This product serves as a mid-tier entry into a series designed to spread notes across different virtual instruments in real time, promoting a more modular workflow.

Features of Divisimate Core

With 16 parts per plugin and the capability to run an essentially infinite number of independent instances, Divisimate Core presents a plethora of possibilities. This modular approach allows users to set up multiple independent instances within their template and address smaller groups of instruments simultaneously. This differs from Divisimate 2, which manages whole orchestras but limits to one instance at a time.

While some advanced features are exclusive to Divisimate 2, Divisimate Core encompasses a rich selection of functionalities compared to its smaller counterpart, Divisimate Micro. Notable features include:

• Scale-locked transpositions
• An integrated arpeggiator
• A preset management system on the perform page controllable with MIDI remote

Moreover, Divisimate Core comes with over 200 prepared orchestrations for brass, woodwinds, and strings, ranging from simple colors to automatic voicings and rhythmic patterns.

Pricing and Availability

Divisimate Core is compatible with macOS and Windows (VST3, AU & AAX). The introductory price is set at $119/119€ until the end of the year, after which it will return to its regular price of $149/149€. Upgrade and crossgrade pricing options are also available for existing owners of other Divisimate products.
