Heat Man Distortion Plugin from Pleatech Audio, Two Free

Pleatech Audio, an independent audio DSP studio based in Denmark, has released three new plugins: Heat Man, TR-Saturn, and Super Wide. Heat Man is a paid distortion processor, while the other two are free. All are available as VST3 plugins for Windows.
Heat Man: Five Distortion Engines
Developed in collaboration with producer DontCallMe, Heat Man combines five distinct distortion processors into one unit. These include Dynamic Saturation, Phase Modulation, Ring Mod Sidechain, Morph, and MS Duck. Users can combine any two engines in series or parallel. This flexibility allows for subtle harmonic enhancement or extreme distortion chains. The plugin also features transient restoration dynamics and analog hardware grit, all packed into a retro handheld console design. Heat Man is priced at $20.
Features
- Five distortion engines
- Series/parallel routing for two engines
- Transient restoration dynamics
- Analog hardware grit

TR-Saturn: Transient Saturation for Drums
TR-Saturn is a free plugin designed for drum processing. It splits the transient from the tail and saturates only the attack. This adds harmonics and weight without sacrificing punch. Kicks gain extra knock, snares gain crack, and hi-hats gain bite. The result is thicker drums that cut through dense mixes.
Super Wide: Stereo Expansion
Super Wide is also free. It offers hyper-wide stereo processing up to 200% width. It includes an auto mono lock under 135 Hz to prevent phase issues. One-click M/L/R monitoring simplifies checking. The plugin aims to deliver wide, dimensional mixes that remain solid in mono.
All three plugins are available now from Pleatech Audio. Heat Man costs $20, while TR-Saturn and Super Wide are free. They are VST3 plugins for Windows only.
