Ocean Swift Releases Wave Editor for Windows and Apple Silicon

Ocean Swift has launched Wave Editor, a standalone audio editor for Windows and Apple Silicon. It offers studio-grade processing without bloat or unnecessary features. The processing uses Ocean Swift’s own DSP, the same code behind DevOcean Modular and the Sound Creator Suite.

Key Features

Wave Editor includes tone shaping, dynamics, character, and repair tools. It also handles everyday tasks like gain, fades, phase, silence, and format conversion. The effect library is growing, built on a platform developed for years. Every effect can be applied to one channel or both. Loop points can be found automatically, snapped to zero crossings, and crossfaded to prevent clicks. Files retain their RIFF metadata and NKS tags.

Interface and Workflow

The interface is clean and concise, focusing on essential functions. It features Canvas and Focus modes for an intuitive workflow. Sample-accurate loop tools are included, and mono and stereo file editing is supported. However, multi-channel audio files are not supported. The editor also includes a script and preset system for automated effect chains.

Wave Editor is priced at 59.99€ as an intro offer, with a regular price of 100€. There is also a bundle with the Sound Creator Suite for 89.99€ (regular 200€).
