Pikocore XL Lo-Fi Music Mangler by Erica Synths

Introduction to Pikocore XL
The Pikocore XL is a lo-fi music mangler based on the Raspberry Pi, originally developed by Zack Scholl. While the original DIY kit featured a miniature pocket calculator form factor, Erica Synths collaborated with Zack to create a more playable version. This new iteration retains the same functionality but is housed in Erica Synths’ signature aluminum enclosure with a hands-on user interface.
Enhanced Design and Usability
The Pikocore XL offers an improved user experience compared to the original. Its design focuses on accessibility and playability, making it easier for musicians and producers to manipulate sounds in real time. The aluminum enclosure not only provides durability but also adds a professional aesthetic to the instrument.
DIY Kit Features and Components
The Infinite Digits Pikocore XL is available as a full DIY kit. It includes all necessary components to assemble the instrument and start using it immediately. Notably, the Raspberry Pi board included in the kit comes pre-programmed, which simplifies the setup process for users.
