The Pikocore XL is a lo-fi music mangler based on the Raspberry Pi, originally developed by Zack Scholl. While the original DIY kit featured a miniature pocket calculator form factor, Erica Synths collaborated with Zack to create a more playable version. This new iteration retains the same functionality but is housed in Erica Synths’ signature aluminum enclosure with a hands-on user interface.

The Pikocore XL offers an improved user experience compared to the original. Its design focuses on accessibility and playability, making it easier for musicians and producers to manipulate sounds in real time.
