Replika Sound releases the Kontakt instrument RSSD01 Dark Piano v2 for free.
This virtual instrument features a large selection of glissandi, string scrapes, deep booms and sub rumbles, all manner of metallic clangs, beats, chimes and resonances, mid-range and high metallic and wooden percussive hits, and other interesting textural sounds and loops; all with their reversed equivalents.
There are a number of user controls to tweak each sound – Sample Start Offsets, LFO based Volume Modulation, Pitch Manipulation, Filtering, Stereo Width and ADSR controls as well as a series of Effects Units (including a tempo-synced pulse gate). All main features are fully MIDI controllable and automatable.
