StemMaster 1.0.8 adds stem export in two modes

Nomz Studios has released StemMaster 1.0.8, a significant update to their Windows mixing and mastering application. The new version introduces stem export functionality, allowing users to render individual tracks alongside the final master. This feature responds directly to customer demand, as noted in the company’s announcement.
Two Export Modes
StemMaster offers two distinct export modes to suit different workflows. The first, ‘Processed Only’, applies each stem’s own processing—such as EQ, compression, sidechain ducking, and reverb—without any level or automation changes. This results in unity-gain, dead-centre stems that leave balancing to the producer. The second mode, ‘Full Mix’, includes the entire mix: levels, pans, vocal rider, and section automation. These stems sum back to the exact mix heard in the app, making them ready for a DAW and subsequent mastering.
Null-Test Verification
To guarantee accuracy, the Full Mix export is verified on every build using an automated null test. The exported stems must reconstruct the pre-master mix; otherwise, the build fails. This claim is independently checkable via a downloadable pack that includes a mix, its stems, and the master in 24-bit FLAC. Summing the stems and inverting the mix yields a residual of -142 dB, confirming precision.
Availability and Pricing
StemMaster 1.0.8 is a free update for existing owners, part of the 1.x series. New licences are available at an introductory price of $69 USD, with a regular price of $99. The application runs entirely on the user’s machine with no account or telemetry. An optional LLM engine can be connected using the user’s own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or compatible providers, and only receives measurements, never audio. A free demo with disabled exports is also available.
