Tan Free – Freeware compressor by Acustica

Acustica has released the versatile freeware compressor plugin Tan Free, which is based on CORE8 with a classic analog VCA compression. It’s available fpr PC and Mac.

„In this plug-in you will of course find the most common parameters like attack, release, threshold, ratio, dry/wet and gain, to allow an extremely wide range of adjustments. One of the exciting new features that is new to software is what we call “ShMod”. This is a shape control for the attack behavior of the compressor. It allows you to fine-tune the attack shape so you can really customize the attack behavior for any audio source!“
