Hell Yes Loop Lab has released Tape It Easy, a tape-inspired audio effect for macOS and Windows. This plugin focuses on saturation, low-end weight, movement, wear, and analog instability. It can be used subtly or pushed into heavier creative territory.

What Is Tape It Easy?

Tape It Easy is not a model of one specific tape machine. Instead, it is a playable processor built around musical saturation, tone, weight, motion, wear, and noise. The controls are direct and musical. You can keep the effect close to the source or push the machine until it starts to fall apart.

The plugin offers six main controls: Push for saturation and drive, Glow for openness and brightness, Weight for low-frequency body, Wear for transient softening, Drift for non-repeating wow and flutter, and Dust for hiss and grit. Blend and Level controls let you fine-tune the final output.
