Ueberschall has released Looptool Inspire, a new addition to its Inspire Series of sample libraries for the Elastik Player. The library targets modern music production across R&B, Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz, LoFi, Pop and contemporary electronic styles.

Over 4200 Loops in 11.5 GB

Looptool Inspire ships with 11.5 GB of content and more than 4200 loops and phrases, with performances up to 16 bars in length. The collection covers full drum grooves as well as individual kick, snare, hi-hat and percussion loops. In addition, it includes basses, synth chords, leads, pads, electric and acoustic pianos, organs and creative effects.

The instrument section is extensive: over 500 analog-style synth basses, more than 250 synth chords and layers, 550 leads and arpeggios, 300 atmospheric pads, over 100 acoustic and electric piano loops each, plus 60 organ performances. The overall sound focuses on warm, organic analog character.

The INSPIRE Workflow

The key feature is that every loop is 100% compatible with every other loop in the library. Users can start with one of the included INSPIRE Kits, containing either four or twelve loops, or build a custom kit. Pressing the INSPIRE button then generates new random combinations in the Elastik Player.

Moreover, Elastik’s time-stretching and pitch-shifting technology allows every loop to match the tempo and key of a project. The material is designed for a range of roughly 70 to 130 BPM, suiting both relaxed grooves and energetic electronic productions.

Drums, Textures and FX

The drum section contains 290 complete drum loops, 275 kick loops, over 300 snare loops, almost 300 hi-hat loops and 130 percussion loops, all with a vintage character. An FX section adds shortwave signals, atmospheric noises, risers, ambient beds and vinyl textures. Furthermore, more than 500 Short Cut loops provide compact looping fragments from ambient recordings, percussion, vocals and sound effects.
