VocAlign 7 Adds Multi-Track Vocal Alignment Workflow
Synchro Arts has released VocAlign 7, a major update to its vocal alignment software. The new version introduces a multi-track workspace, allowing producers to manage and align multiple vocal tracks in one operation. This update aims to streamline vocal production workflows.
New Multi-Track Workspace
The highlight of VocAlign 7 is the Multi-Track View. It lets you capture all vocals in a single workspace. You can designate any track as a guide and align multiple vocal layers simultaneously. This reduces repetitive editing tasks significantly.
Additionally, Track-Based Pitch & Timing Control enables corrections across a session or on individual tracks and clips. Visual Energy Analysis provides visual feedback to identify alignment issues quickly. These features work together to speed up the alignment process.
Advanced Features in Pro
VocAlign 7 Pro extends the workflow with Creative Formant Control. This allows shaping vocal stacks, creating convincing doubles, and adding width with independent formant control. The Pro edition also includes SynchroLink 2.0, which integrates with RePitch 2 to keep tuning and alignment synchronized during editing.
Moreover, VocAlign 7 retains SmartPitch, which detects sections of backing vocals that need pitch correction and applies processing selectively. This preserves natural harmonies and musicality.
