Remi Blaze has released Bouncit, a free BPM-synced stereo delay for macOS. It’s available as AU, VST3, and standalone formats, with Apple Silicon native support. This plugin is part of a growing collection of free tools from a house and tech-house producer with over 170 original tracks across 35+ labels.

Designed to Stay Out of the Mix

Delay often fights the mix. Repeats stack behind the dry signal, wash over transients, and drift out of the groove. Bouncit aims to solve this with built-in ducking. The repeats pull down while the input is present, then return in the gaps. The feedback loop also runs through low-pass and high-pass filters with tanh saturation. Therefore, each repeat is gently shaped rather than piling up brighter and louder.

Moreover, the delay times sync to the host across six note values. You can also run free from 1 to 2000 ms. Independent left and right timing is available, along with a Link mode for locked control. A Swing control offsets the right channel up to 100% for a shuffled bounce. Tape modulation adds analog pitch wobble via a sine LFO on the delay time. Additionally, mid/side width opens the wet signal to 200%.

Freeze and Safety

Freeze captures the buffer and loops it indefinitely, which is perfect for builds and transitions. A tanh soft clipper and hard limiter sit at the output as a safety net. These features ensure that even extreme settings won’t cause clipping or distortion.

Bouncit Raw: One-Knob Companion

For those who prefer speed over control, Bouncit Raw is a free one-knob companion. A single ECHO knob drives a tempo-synced ping-pong delay. It uses a 1/4-note on the left against a dotted-quarter on the right. Feedback and wet level rise together, and auto-leveling prevents volume jumps. This makes it ideal for fast ideas and live tweaks.
